never seen snow

 

When I was little I used to scrape the icey lining of my freezer and imagined that it was snow.  I grew up in a very very hot country town where that white stuff was the closest thing to it. To this day, I still haven’t seen snow but it is on my bucket list of things to do for sure.  What I love about SL is I can “pretend” to be in snow and give my freezer a break. Anyhoo that was again random lol

I just wanted to wish everyone a very safe, aweseome Holidays and an incredibly wonder new year!

Now, I was talking with some friends about the usual, “whats your new years resolution?” kinda deal and two of friends came back with some great comments.

Greg replied with something like, I dont do resolutions because I always fail them lol  But what he does is four “things” every year.

He said, every year he ticks at least four boxes:

1. Soul
2. body
3. Mind; and
4. Selfishness

What he aims to do every year is challenge himself with an activity that ticks all boxes at once, even though its not necessary.  Last year he went on hiking trip to Aztecs and he said, he soul somewhat connected with the lifestyle there, his body got fit from the hiking, his mind learned of many new things couture and selfishness… a trip to the aztecs lol its pretty self explanatory..

 

Another one of my friends said she does something similar.. she said she just sets “goals” instead of resolutions like eating healthier etc..

anyway.. I thought I’d share lol random I know!

Now I don’t have the biggest inventory but I have a shocking memory which really sucks when you try to style lol its nothing like going through your rl wardrobe now isn’t it?  A mate of mine asked me today about these shoes and she linked me a picture to the rl ones.  Im like “oh yeah I know these” but having a memory of a fish helps nada.. As I was perving through photostream I came across these gowns by  (Vanguard) and I was very much hooked.  I have a huge inclination towards outfits with little to no embellishmentss and the focal point being the beautiful cloth or shoud I say “texture” in sl.  I also enjoy dresses that look like it has been made by one long piece of of luxourious cloth, draped around you.  Now, in saying this.. I am ‘not’ saying I dont like jewellry LOL I love it.. but on the dress itself.
